Coaching Associates now offers Executive Coaching programs that will assist executives specifically with these issues. Executive Coaching is focused directly on the executive's unique situation, focusing on goals, assessing results, exploring options, and facilitating attainment of that next level of excellence both for the executive and his company. Executive Coaching lets executives and their businesses discover and unleash their full potential.

The Executive Coaching Experience

Executive Coaching is quickly emerging as the preferred way for executives to progress from where they ARE to where they WANT to go in terms of their managerial, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Along the journey, these executives experience development and growth so that they are able to realize their full potential.

Executive Coaching typically begins with a preliminary getting-to-know-each-other session. In this session, the coach explains the coaching process and the kind of commitment required of both parties for a successful outcome. The client's needs and expectations are then discussed and both agree on the frequency of the coaching session and the duration. Confidentiality of the process is also discussed and affirmed.

How structured each session is depends on the types of coaching required, i.e. skills, performance or developmental. In general, the 4-step GROW model is used as a guide. Every session will be focused on helping clients to reach the agreed goals. The session ends with an action plan that the client will propose for himself. In the following session, the client will report on his progress made since the last session. Through this interactive process, the coach creates a supportive environment that enables his clients to achieve his desired objectives.

Applications of Executive Coaching

Executive Coaching is appropriate for a broad range of individual self-development objectives and leadership challenges. Clients may choose to work with their coach on such issues as:

  • Setting and achieving stretch goals in a dynamic environment of change
  • Improving communication with all levels of colleagues
  • Aligning Corporate values with Corporate earnings
  • Getting things done using effective team management skills
  • Orientation and support for a smooth transition into a new position
  • Raising overall management and skill levels to obtain a desired promotion
  • In preparation for or implementation of major re-engineering or restructuring projects
  • In combination with an Extended DISC 360-degree assessment
  • Alleviating performance problems or dealing with blind spots that detract from otherwise high potential performance

Executive Coaching Program Includes

Coaching Associates believes that our Executive Coaching necessarily requires a custom-designed one-on-one approach. Typically these would involve regular confidential sessions on a weekly or bi-weekly basis over a period of at least three months. As appropriate, such programs could include specific Extended DISC 360-degree assessments, development of individual performance goals & objectives, and follow-up evaluation. Coaching Associates is available to meet with businesses and executives to discuss and develop specific agendas for their Performance Coaching objectives and contractual details.
